Prayer
We are a ministry that believes in the “Power of Prayer”. Jesus would oftentimes leave everything and everyone to get alone with God the Father for a time of prayer. If the church of Jesus Christ is going to reach the lost it will be done on our knees. Prayer is the fuel that enables the church to gain spiritual ground and our church longs to dwell in His presence. As the psalmist said in Psalm 63:1
“O God, you are my God; early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land, where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory”. Our souls yearn for the living God as we seek Him daily in prayer.
Romans 1:16-17Dear Father,Help us never to be ashamed of the Good News but to have great pride in it, since it is your power of salvation for everyone, the Jew first, then the non-Jew.In it you revealed your righteousness from one degree of faith to another. As your prophet Habakkuk declared, "The just shall live by faith."Grant me, Father, to be filled with faith and to show it in my faithfulness. In fact, I am able to live every day by my trust in you! I am sustained by my trust in you!Thank you for being worthy of my trust! In the name of Jesus. Amen.Ⓒ 1996-2026 Heartlight, Inc.
